ABOUT THE EVENT
Witness the blazing beauty and captivating art technique made from live gunpowder and original artwork from Sage Foundation Artists led by Jay Sage. Drinks and food will be served by Chef Rodrick Malone from the Balentine.
This explosive night promises a striking blend of artistry, atmosphere, and fine wine. All proceeds benefit the Sage Arts Foundation, a 501c(3) organization whose mission is to support artists in Oklahoma City through mentorship, business development, and resources for artists to practice and perfect their crafts

JAY SAGE
Jay Sage is an award-winning Oklahoma artist recognized for his bold, emotionally driven works that combine traditional art techniques with unconventional materials, including gunpowder, gold leaf, and mixed media. His contemporary style explores themes of hope, humanity, and personal transformation, inviting viewers to connect deeply with each piece. Through the Sage Arts Foundation, Jay is also dedicated to mentoring emerging artists and strengthening Oklahoma's creative community.
Dave Goodman
Dave Goodman is a multidisciplinary artist whose work reflects a passion for craftsmanship, creativity, and storytelling. His pieces showcase a thoughtful blend of technique and artistic expression, offering viewers a unique perspective through contemporary visual art. Dave's dedication to the creative process and attention to detail make his work a compelling addition to our Ignite evening experience.
NICHOL VAGROSKY
Nichol Vagrosky is a multidisciplinary abstract artist whose work explores identity, transformation, faith, and the emotional complexities of the human experience. Drawing from her own journey of resilience and self-discovery, Nichol translates deeply personal narratives into expressive, layered compositions.
Her abstract practice is rooted in intentionality and emotion, inviting viewers to look beyond the surface and connect with their own stories of becoming. Through bold expression and a distinctive visual language, Nichol creates work that reflects both vulnerability and strength—transforming experience into art and art into legacy.
robin marsh
Robin Marsh is an Emmy Award-winning news anchor in Oklahoma City and a self-taught artist who began her creative journey during the pandemic. Through her artwork, she shares her faith, with each piece thoughtfully titled using a scripture from God's Word. Her paintings reflect a passion for creativity, inspiration, and hope, inviting viewers to experience the messages behind each work as much as she enjoys bringing them to life.
stephen cox
Through abstract acrylic paintings, Stephen Cox explores the emotional and spiritual journey of life, capturing its constant movement, complexity, and transformation. Inspired by personal experiences with anxiety, the work gives visual form to emotions that are often difficult to express. Using layered brushwork, squeegees, and hand-stretched paint, each piece creates a dynamic visual language that invites viewers to discover their own interpretations and connections within the artwork.
